I think yellow and red are close to the same except red You can use both pads for street use but red pads are made for the track as welll. I've had red & green but now swapped to Lucas TRW pads which I consider to be just as good for a lot less hard-earned. I've tried red and yellow stuff, and whilst they were OK, the red stuff offered no noticable performance over Mazda original pads, and the yellow stuffs had weird heat properties that made them a little nervous on the 'Ring. Getting them resurfaced at orielly's cost $15 per rotor (vs $145 per rotor for replacements) and we are running EBC Red Stuff Pads which are a high performance ceramic pad and they feel fantastic Has anybody used EBC red/yellow stuff pads? 345 posts.
